Tour Your Town

We did a test of the, "Tour Your Town" marketing plan in Yuba City CA and it seems that the ideas are a little foreign to businesses. There is real hesitancy after trying different marketing ideas with little return. So, we are stepping back and will begin with a known marketing idea, selling ads on our shows.

Which brings us to even more changes. We realized that we needed to go to a more interactive science show, where the young people help teach through playing with science. So, we came up with the idea of a science gym. Since we live in the hills and most of our large interactive demonstrators are made from recycled materials, the idea of a hillbilly science gym was born.

For the original ideas for the "Tour Your Town" marketing plans, once we have enough shows completed to launch, we will begin to slowly add these new ideas.  We still believe this will be a very powerful new form of marketing for small businesses. Right now we are in the middle of building our science gym.
